What will change as of March 23, 2022?

• You no longer have to wear a medical face mask or keep a distance of 1.5 meters from each other in all areas of our hospital, including the Hijmans van den Bergh building. However, you are always free to keep doing this on your own initiative. Medical face masks remain available in our hospital.

Exception: in healthcare and patient treatment you do wear a medical face mask and keep 1.5 meters away from the patient.

• All education is possible again without face masks and without limitation at 1.5 meters or maximum number of participants; there can always be reasons to continue to offer education (partly) online.
• There is no longer (active) triage at the entrances of UMC Utrecht and you can use all entrances again to enter.

New rules of life

Although keeping 1.5 meters distance and medical face masks are not obligatory anymore, we do ask that you respect everyone who does want to continue to do this. Therefore:

• keeping distance is always allowed;
• we prefer not to shake hands;
• wearing a (medical) face mask is always allowed;
• have yourself tested in case of complaints.
